Totum tuum
"Totum tuum" was the Giovanni Paolo II saying, the lamented Pope, and was showing his total devotion to Madonna. Inhabitants of this piazza del Pantheon probably thought of the same things.
"Totum tuum" era il motto di Giovanni PaoloII, il compianto Papa, e indicava la sua totale devozione alla Madonna. Probabilmente gli abitanti di questa piazza del Pantheon condividevano le stesse idee.

"Are you mad about what has been happening inside Iran these days? Well then take a deep breath... blow it all into a Green Balloon... and wait until Friday afternoon to send it up to the sky, wherever you are on this planet. Millions of Iranians inside Iran are planning to paint the sky green on Friday exactly at 1pm Tehran time. The non-violent green movement is being cracked down on the ground, so lets take it to the sky."

Very beautiful this painting of the Madonna on the building. There are so many interesting things to look at in this photo. The fountain, the plants in the window, the bicycle....a great photo!
agree with Lori...and yes the bicycle....i was delighted to see it there...i can never forget the Italian movie by Vittorio deSica "the bicycle thieves"....one of the most beautiful movies i have ever seen.
Moi: sincerely I had not thought to the Vittrio de sica film, a very poetic thought...
An exquisite picture
Una fotografia molto bella (come le restanti devo dire). Questa però ha quel qualcosa in più che la rende unica ai miei occhi. Bravissimo come sempre.
