I live in a district "particular "called "Tufello." The district is born in the years '50 to give a house to the families in economic difficulty. Its building typology (as that of similar districts) belongs to the history of the Italian architecture.
Io vivo in un quartiere “particolare”chiamato “Tufello”. Il quartiere nasce negli anni ’50 per dare una casa alle famiglie in difficoltà economica. La sua tipologia edilizia (come quella di quartieri simili) fa parte della storia dell’architettura italiana.
In the last years many of his buildings have been restructured. This is a example.
Negli ultimi anni molti dei suoi edifici sono stati ristrutturati. Questo è un esempio.

Ciao, caro. Very pretty, though a bit unusual, windows and balconies. I'm not sure what to think of those two awnings and the other weird structure. Now, please don't tell me that this building went straight from low-income housing to yuppie playground.

The different structure serves to contain the assistant parts as the elevator that it initially didn't exist.
The apartments are still inhabited from tenants to low income. Rent him they don't overcome the 200,00 euro monthly!

Ils ont pris la matière du ciel et des nuages pour enjoliver les anciens immeubles. Ils ont appliqués sur les façades ces espaces translucides de circulation...

Pas mal comme habitation à loyer modéré. Et j'ai vu pire comme installation d'acsenseur ajoutée après coup.
I like this architecture. I wouldn't have guessed it was in Rome though. Very modern!
@Hpy: Crois-moi, une location à Rome à ces prix est un rêve (on va du 1.000 euro en puis).
Je préfère les anciens bâtiments mais il faut bien vivre avec son temps. Je remarque que le système des ouvertures dont une partie se relève a été conservé. Ce qui dépasse de ce bâtiment gâche un peu la breauté moderne de l'ensemble.
