This idyllic space (and little attended from the Roman) is the bank of tiber that coasts along the Tiberina Island. Between a leaf and the other is possible to see, to right, the hospital “Fairies well siblings” (founded from the friars in 1585), and, on the left, the awakening of one of the beggars who use the place in order to pass the night.
Questo spazio idilliaco (e poco frequentato dai romani) è l'argine del tevere che costeggia l'Isola Tiberina. Tra una foglia e l'altra è possibile vedere, a destra, l'ospedale "Fatebenefratelli" (fondato dai frati nel 1585), e , a sinistra, il risveglio di uno dei mendicanti che usano il luogo per passare la notte.

Bel Automne à Rome et belle photo ! Les couleurs de l'arbre sont magnifiques !
Il ya des ressemblances entre Rome et Paris. Les deux villes sont traversées par l'eau, et il y a des endroits propices aux promenades. Cette photo me rappelle une que j'ai faite il y a longtemps sur l'Ile St Louis à Paris, avec un arbre penché sur l'eau. Peut-être y avait-il aussi un clochard, mais cela je ne me le rappelle plus. Par ailleurs les deux photos ne se ressemblent pas. J'aime beaucoup les couleurs de celle-ci. Ciao.
Oh, yes. One of the reasons I love walking along the Tevere is that it reminds me of the banks of the Danube but more romantic, as is everything in Rome.

Les arbres s'inclinet toujours vers l'eau je ne sais pas pourquoi. Certainement une question de racines ou d'humidité. En tout cas j'aime bien cette dissymétrie. On dirait une nymphe qui penche la tête, ses longs cheveux "blonds vénitiens" défaits (comme la Vénus de Botticelli)...
