Yesterday Anna Lucia has celebrated the “First Communion”, this is the diary of the day.
The first thing to be done is the photo memory, alone and with its family.

This weekend was the Italian Food Festival. There were lots of delicious things to eat and an amusing music to be listened! Here are a few photos from the festival.

So che non è buona educazione dire gli anni di qualche anziano che li festeggia e oggi c’è proprio questa ricorrenza...


The years are “only” 2761 and who completes them it is not a person but a city: Rome!
Gli anni sono “solo” 2761 e chi li compie non è una persona ma una città: Roma!

… and to console me, a day on the snows of the Gran Sasso, the tallest top of the center Italy, even if to the departure the clouds didn't leave a lot of hopes…
… e per consolarmi, una giornata sulle nevi del Gran Sasso, la cima più alta del centro Italia, anche se alla partenza le nubi non lasciavano molte speranze…

but has been enough to wait... and to midday the day was this way!

Result of the elections in Italy, the left loses and the right wins, it loses the seriousness and the desire to do well, it wins the ignorance and the private interest. Returns the middle age of the vulgarity...

Risultato delle elezioni in Italia, la sinistra perde e la destra vince, perde la serietà ed il desiderio di fare bene, vince l'ignoranza e l'interesse privato. Ritorna il medioevo della volgarità..

Roman middle ages - Medioevo Romano

The prince Valiant was the preferred cartoon of the boy that writes, and that for an evening has been able to relive those atmospheres in the courtyard of Building V. in an evening devoted to the middle ages, where figurantis in custom interpreted the most frequent characters of the epoch.


Il principe Valiant era il fumetto preferito del ragazzo che scrive, e che per una sera è stato capace di rivivere quelle atmosfere nel cortile di palazzo Venezia, in una sera dedicata al medioevo, dove figuranti in costume interpretavano i personaggi più frequenti dell'epoca.

ARA PACIS

The Ara Pacis (Altar of Peace) was built to celebrate the peace established in the roman empire by the emperor Augustus, after his military campaigns North of the Alps, in Gaul and in Spain, between the years 16 B.C. and 13 B.C. The altar was finished in the year 9 B.C. and was originally located in the Field of Mars, not far south from its current location.
L'Ara Pacis (Altare della Pace) fu costruito per celebrare la pace stabilita nell'impero romano dall'imperatore Augusto, dopo la sua campagna militare al nord delle Alpi in Gallia ed in Spagna, tra gli anni 16 A.C. e 13 A.C. L'altare fu finito l'anno 9 A.C. e fu localizzato originalmente nel Campo di Marte, non lontano dalla sua ubicazione corrente.





From April 21 st 2006 the altar has a new position inside a building realized by Richard Meier Together with the altar, has been projected also the surrounding space.

Dal 21 aprile 2006 l'altare ha una nuova collocazione all'interno di un edificio realizzato da Richard Meier. Insieme all'altare, è stato progettato anche lo spazio circostante.






As always in Rome, ancient and modern can live in the same space.
Come sempre a Roma, antico e moderno possono convivere nello stesso spazio.
