I think it happens often, I took a photo of another not long ago.
Isn't it amazing how birds can do that? But the funniest one is the bird sitting on the statue's head.

Nous avions un rouge-gorge unijambiste qui sautillait sur sa patte unique dans le jardin. Il revenait tous les ans ; je le reconnaissais grâce à son infirmité.
