After the great station "Termini" it is the turn of the small one, romantic station "Ostia beach."
From here, the trains departed that brought to the sea of Ostia. It was the time when the vacations were a privilege of few and this train it gave to many the possibility to be happy for one day.
Dopo la grande stazione termini è il turno della piccola, romantica stazione "Ostia lido". Da qui, partivano i treni che portavano al mare di Ostia. Era il tempo in cui le vacanze erano un privilegio di pochi e questo treno dava a molti la possibilità di essere felici per un giorno

Aujourd'hui il pleut aussi ici sur Cergy et monjardin et je suis en train de regarder pour prendre une photo
Je crois que la pluie donne plus de nostalgie, plus d'âme à une photo que le soleil. Vois ici, comme le goudron de la rue a de l'épaisseur, et comme il luit. Comme cette personne se hâte avec son parapluie ce qui donne de la vie.
C'est vrai qu'autrefois les gens prenaient le train. J'ai même fait mon diplome d'architecture sur une forêt et une région où les gens de la ville venaient en train pour chercher le muguet du premier mai.
Ils ne trouvaient peut être pas de muguet, mais ils avaient passé une bonne journée en famille tout du moins...
I like this photo of the station in the rain. (From the photo it seems like it must be chilly in Rome now.) It must have been lovely for people to escape to the beach, if only for the day!
