The jobs of demolition of the area (1940) were suspended for the recovery of very important archaeological finds.
The television spar are a following gift.

So many treasures in Rome and they are still finding artifacts from the past. That's amazing! I wonder what is the structure with the chariot? I love seeing the layers of buildings here.

They are two statues (by Carlo Fontana and Paolo Bartolini)of the goddess Victoria riding on quadrigas(1927). :)

Just as messy as my rooftops in Avignon! Such are rich old cities that no matter where you turn you see a church tower or some monument. Fascinating.

Well then take a deep breath... blow it all into a Green Balloon... and wait until Friday afternoon to send it up to the sky, wherever you are on this planet. Millions of Iranians inside Iran are planning to paint the sky green on Friday exactly at 1pm Tehran time. The non-violent green movement is being cracked down on the ground, so lets take it to the sky."
