Up to 10 years ago this plaza it was famous in all Rome for his market. Only after the move of the market the people have been able to rediscover his gardens (remained hidden from the same market).

Fino a 10 anni fa questa piazza era famoso in tutta Roma per il suo mercato . Solo dopo lo spostamento del mercato la gente ha potuto riscoprire i suoi giardini ( rimasti nascosti dal mercato stesso).






Among his curiosities there is also this mysterious "hands magic", guarded by two Egyptian statues (Bes). The mysterious construction belonged to an alchemist of 1653.

Tra le sue curiosità c’è anche questa misteriosa “porta magica”, sorvegliata da due statue egizie (Bes). La misteriosa villa apparteneva a un alchimista del 1653.

Je suis passée hier, et que vois-je aujourd'hui. Pas de commentaire de ma part? J'ai du être interrompue par quelque chose, car je me rappelle avoir regardé la troisième photo et avoir voulu dire quelque chose au sujet des statues qui gardent la porte. Car c'est bien une porte?

... cette porte est ce qu'il reste d'une villa mystérieuse d'un alchimiste romain vécu en 1600.

Il a afit beau le jour de tes photos et cela change l'ambiance tout de suite, c'est beaucoup moins mystérieux malgré le trottoir humide encore...
Ce marché devait donc être un marché couvert. Pas un open market.
Il est à noter que même après leur disparition, bien longtemps après l'esprit des personnes comme les alchimistes imprégnent encore les lieux...
