Soft bridge - Ponte mollo.

Its name is Ponte Milvio and it is still the most ancient Roman (207 B.C.) bridge in use in the city (even if for old citizens its name is that of "Soft bridge").

The beautiful tower of guard (of the Valadier), who was serving to check who was coming in and going out of the town, today lodges pleasant painting shows.

For the young and romantic Romans, at last, this is alone "bridge of the padlocks",.. but this is another history..!

Hello Nazzareno, it is me Claude from my work's blog. Very beautiful old bridge. Do you konw "le Pont du Gard" near Nîmes in the south of France ? This roman bridge reminds me "le Pont du Gard".

This is very smaller and more ancient. Ciao.

Beautiful bridge. Don't remember seeing it; where can we find it?

@Lori:the colors are soft as the name of the bridge.

@Moi:be really that!

@Gmg:it is also on wiki to the voice "Ponte Milvio".

"Are you mad about what has been happening inside Iran these days? Well then take a deep breath... blow it all into a Green Balloon... and wait until Friday afternoon to send it up to the sky, wherever you are on this planet. Millions of Iranians inside Iran are planning to paint the sky green on Friday exactly at 1pm Tehran time. The non-violent green movement is being cracked down on the ground, so lets take it to the sky."
