L'anniversario della liberazione è un giorno, spesso considerato festa nazionale, che segna la liberazione di un luogo, simile a un giorno dell'indipendenza

Liberation Day is a day, often a public holiday, that marks the liberation of a place, similar to an independence day

Il 19 aprile 1945, in concomitanza con l’offensiva degli Alleati, il CLN proclama un'insurrezione generale.

Bologna fu liberata aprile 21 dai Polacchi e dalle turppe della Brigata Maiella .
Parma e Reggio Emilia furono liberate il 24 aprile
Milano e Torino furono liberate il 25 aprile.
Le ultime truppe Tedesche lasciarono Genova il 26 aprile, quando il Generale Meinhold si arrese al CLN.

On April 19, 1945, concurrent with the renewal of the Allied offensive, the CLN called out a general insurrection.

Bologna was liberated on April 21 by Polish and Brigata Maiella troops.

Parma and Reggio Emilia were liberated on April 24.
Milano and Torino were liberated on April 25.
The last German troops left Genoa on April 26, when General Meinhold surrendered to the CLN.
