In his true name is Fabricio bridge, but is for Romans " bridge 4 heads ", the reason understands himself! This bridge connects to an island (to ship form) which is in means to Tiber the: "Island of the Tiber"
In suo vero nome è "Ponte Fabricio" ma per i romani è "Ponte 4 capi", il motivo si capisce! Questo ponte collega ad un'isola (a forma di nave) che si trova in mezzo al Tevere: l' " Isola Tiberina"

1° day of summer - 1° giorno d'estate

Also I, like many, make part of a sport circle. These are photographies of the beautiful organized festivity yesterday evening to the circle in occasion of the “1° day of summer”.
Anche io, come tanti, faccio parte di un circolo sportivo. Queste sono fotografie della bella festa organizzata ieri sera al circolo in occasione del "1° giorno d'estate".

The "Passetto"

The Passetto di Borgo, or simply Passetto, is a secret passage, contained in the wall interior, that links the Vatican City with the Castle of Sant' Angelo. (told also by Dan Brown in his Angel & Demon book)
From outside it looks like a wall but inside there is the tunnel, which on several occasions served as an escape route for Popes in danger.
(Pope Alexander VI (Borgia) crossed it in 1494, when Charles VIII invaded the city and the Pontiff's life was in danger.Clement VII (Giulio Dè Medici) escaped to safety through this passage during the Sack of Rome in 1527.)


Il Passetto di Borgo, o semplicemente Passetto ,è un passaggio segreto, contenuto all’ interno del muro che collega la Città del Vaticano con Castell Sant’Angelo (raccontato anche da Dan Brown nel suo libro “Angeli & Demoni”)
Da fuori sembra un muro ma in realtà nasconde il tunnel che in molte occasioni servì come un percorso di fuga per il Papa in pericolo(Papa Alessandro VI (Borgia) l'attraversò nel 1494, quando CarloVIII invase la città e la vita del Pontefice era in pericolo.Clemente VII (Giulio Dè Medici) scappò al sicuro attraverso questo passaggio durante il Sacco di Roma nel 1527.)

Music park - Parco della musica

I do not call anything new affirming that the music is one of the majors universal language to the world. Certainly the simplest. This covering is foreground one of the rooms of the new auditorium "music park" of Rome. The design is of Renzo Piano , the most famous Italian architect of the moment.


Non dico niente di nuovo affermando che la musica è uno dei maggiori linguaggio universale al mondo. Sicuramente il più semplice. Questo involucro in primo piano è una delle sale del nuovo auditorium Parco della musica di Roma. La progettazione è di Renzo Piano , il più famoso architetto italiano del momento.

...without soul... - ...senz'anima...

This big structure does a part of the maxi-car park of the fair in Rome. Personally I do not love this type of systems of futurist inspiration, where everything must be of dimensions as colossal, as this tunnel which to cover it all is necessary 15 minutes.
Questa grande struttura fa parte del maxi parcheggio della fiera di Roma. Personalmente non amo quest'impianti colossali d'ispirazione futurista, come questo tunnel che a percorrerlo tutto occorrono 15 minuti.

women.... - donne....

Queste due donne così intente a parlare mi fanno pensare ad alcuni versi di Fiorella Mannoia (una cantante italiana) dedicati alle donne, al loro mondo, alla loro sensibilità:
“è difficile spiegare certe giornate amare.. abbiamo troppa fantasia, e se diciamo una bugia è una mancata verità...Siamo così: dolcemente complicate,sempre più emozionate, delicate …”


These two women therefore intentes to speak make to think to some backs of Fiorella Mannoia (an Italian singer) devoted to the women, to their world, to their sensibility:

We colour history - Coloriamo la storia

I liked the contrast between the yellow flowers on the church façade and the grey of all the rest. For the chronicle is the Senatorial Palace of Capitol.
Mi piaceva il contrasto tra i fiori gialli sulla facciata della chiesa e i grigio di tutto il resto. Per la cronaca si tratta del palazzo Senatorio del Campidoglio.

ARA PACIS

This is the building, planned by the Richard Meier architect, which since 2006 has contained the ARA PACIS , the altar designed to celebrate the Roman pax, which the Roman Senate decided to be built to Augusto return from a shipment to Spain and Gaul. Like all the innovative works, also this project has been criticized by a few right-mindeds persons. Personally I find her a wonderful architecture!



Questo è l'edificio, progettato dall'architetto Richard Meier , che dal 2006 racchiude l'ARA PACIS , l'altare destinato a celebrare la pax romana, che il Senato Romano decise di costruire al ritorno di Augusto da una spedizione in Spagna e Gallia . Come tutte le opere innovative, anche questo progetto è stato criticato da alcuni benpensanti. Personalmente la trovo un'architettura meravigliosa !

Chi non conosce Via Veneto? Questa è la strada legata alla "dolce vita" degli anni '60: attori, attrici, giornalisti, politici e semplici curiosi... era il centro della vita, il simbolo dei sogni di tanta gente. Oggi è una strada molto elegante con tanti alberghi, ma non tutti belli come questo ...

With this poetry bath "Memories of Adriano" the splendid book of the Yourcenauer that tells the life of the emperor Adriano, acclimated in the attractive VILLA ADRIANA of Tivoli. You can imagine my emotion in covering the same places as his life ...

The man that reads - L'uomo che legge

The photograph was done from the opposite palace. The subject photographed the man of the bar that reads a newspaper, but in the game of the reflections is ended us of everything (also me).
La foto è stata fatta dal palazzo di fronte. Il soggetto fotografato l'uomo del bar che legge un giornale, ma nel gioco dei riflessi c'è finito di tutto (anche io).
