This represented in the romantico “acquarello” of Roesler Franz is a place little known of Trastevere, called “Arc of the Tolomei”.

In this image, instead, is possible to see the road that it crosses it. Over, naturally, there is the beautiful tower pertaining to the same family of the Tolomei
In questa immagine, invece, è possibile vedere la strada che lo attraversa. Sopra, naturalmente, c’è la bella torre appartenente alla stessa famiglia dei Tolomei

Lovely photographs. I see that the newer buildings block out the view of the tower from the same perspective. I'm glad it's still there. That's an interesting vehicle in the second photo!

LA troisème photo - puisque personne n'en a encore parlé - me rappelle les couleurs que j'avais vues lors de ma lointaine visite à Rome. Il ne manque qu'une vieille Fiat 500 pour que mes souvenirs soient parfaits!

Bonjour Nazzareno, tu as publié très tard ce message et hier j'étais à Paris toute la journée alors aujourd'hui me voilà enfin ici pour te saluer à mon tour.
Tour... Comme cette tour qui devait servir de frontière, puisqu'elle occupe un emplacement stratégique, enjambant cette rue qu'elle contrôle.

Hier, j'étais donc à Paris, métro Rome, et c'est un peu comme si j'étais chez toi. La rue de Rome à Paris, est la rue que fréquentent les musiciens, elle est consacrée à la musique.
