Fountain of Farnese plaza – Fontana di Piazza Farnese

This is one of the two fountains, realized in 1626 with two great bathtubs coming from ancient Egypt, than they are found in Farnese plaza.
On the background the small and beautiful church of S. Brigida. The morning soon (as in the photo) can be listened to the evocative chorus of the nuns

This instead, is the part of Fountain, realized in 1626 from the sculptor Girolamo Rainaldi for the Farnese family. It is not suggestive?
To Monday…!

A lunedì….!

It is amazing that something created so long ago still looks so beautiful today. Thank you for showing us this beautiful fountain. The church is very impressive too. It is great to see the treasures of Rome from your perspective!

Buona sera a tu.

"Are you mad about what has been happening inside Iran these days? Well then take a deep breath... blow it all into a Green Balloon... and wait until Friday afternoon to send it up to the sky, wherever you are on this planet. Millions of Iranians inside Iran are planning to paint the sky green on Friday exactly at 1pm Tehran time. The non-violent green movement is being cracked down on the ground, so lets take it to the sky."
